How do I submit an ad?

First, you need to create an account via the 'register' link. Then log in and click on Post->New Ad. You can fill in the item details and you'll then need to pay the listing fee via Paypal (you don't need a Paypal account to do this, you can just use your credit card). Your ad will then appear on the site.

Can I pay for more than one ad in one go?

Yes, we have improved our checkout process so this is now possible.

Why don't you show sellers' email addresses?

This is to protect our sellers from spam. You can contact sellers via phone (if given) or using the site's own 'Contact seller' email form if you are a registered user.

How do I pay for the item?

That is a matter for you and the seller to agree - we simply provide an ad service, we do not get involved in the actual transaction.

A seller ripped me off/a buyer messed me around

The first thing to say is that whenBabyGROWS is a classified ad service, and the normal caveats when buying or selling second hand apply. That said, we want our users to behave in a reasonable and ethical manner, so if you do have a serious complaint about another user please contact us. We do reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to users who don't behave appropriately.

What's the local noticeboard all about?

This is a noticeboard to post details of community events other users of this site may be interested in. It must not be used to advertise commercial services, and any such postings will be removed and persistant offenders banned from the site.

I live outside your area, can I still use your site?

We would suggest that if you are close enough and have the kind of items to make the trip worthwhile for people in our area, it is worthwhile advertising. But we are looking to expand around the country - if you're interested in a part-time income by licensing whenBabyGROWS, please get in touch!
